Parker Poage

Marketing, Revenue & Business Operations

Sales, Marketing, Analytics & Applied AI

9+ years across sales, marketing, analytics and business operations. Promoted three times at NewsBank, where I now lead marketing operations, CRM strategy, analytics, martech and vendor management across NewsBank and Readex, reporting to the CMO. I use AI to analyze large datasets, build executive reports and build workflows such as one that matches new CRM contacts to likely accounts and sales owners.

Problems I have worked on

Projects from my current company, described by problem, approach and result. Customer data has been removed and the demonstrations use synthetic examples.

AI-Assisted Contact Enrichment

Problem
The CRM was losing more useful contacts than it gained, and new contacts arrived without account context in a custom-built CRM with limited third-party integrations.
What I did
A Claude-assisted workflow, built around periodic CRM exports and a Klaviyo connector, that suggests the likely account, market and sales owner for each new contact with a 1-to-5 confidence score.

  • AI Workflow Design
  • CRM Data Enrichment
  • Klaviyo

Marketing Attribution & Churn Early Warning

Problem
Marketing activity and account outcomes lived in separate places, so leadership and Sales could not see how engagement related to renewals, risk and closed revenue.
What I did
An early-warning workflow and an account-level attribution log that map campaign engagement to accounts and surface risk and opportunity signals for Sales.

CRM & Deliverability Rebuild

Problem
Years of accumulated CRM data raised real questions about which records were valid, deliverable and safe to market to.
What I did
A full audit and classification of the database, verification through external vendors and a rebuilt operating process for segmentation and sending.
  • CRM Strategy
  • Data Governance
  • Email Deliverability
  • Segmentation

Multi-Brand Platform Migration

Problem
The incumbent marketing platform was up for renewal at a higher annual cost, and four brands depended on it every day.
What I did
A structured evaluation of five platforms, a business case presented to executive leadership and a migration program with 30+ contributors that went live without missing a campaign.

  • Vendor Evaluation
  • Business Case
  • Executive Communication

AI-Assisted Executive Reporting & Analysis

Problem
Marketing data across email, social, webinar and YouTube was large, messy and slow to turn into something leadership could act on.
What I did
AI-assisted analysis and reporting workflows that speed up research, surface patterns and structure findings, with every conclusion checked by a person before it reaches an executive.

Where I fit

People, systems, data and revenue

The roles I do best in are the ones that sit between functions. I have sold the product, run the campaigns, built the reporting and picked the platforms, so I tend to be the person who can translate between Sales, Marketing, leadership and the systems they all depend on.

  • Applied AI & Automation

AI workflow design, Prompt engineering, AI-assisted research and analysis, AI-assisted executive reporting

  • Revenue & GTM Operations

Revenue operations, Sales enablement, Lead management, Lifecycle strategy

  • Marketing Operations & Martech

  • Analytics & Reporting

Executive KPI dashboards, Cross-channel analysis, Google Analytics, Looker Studio

  • Leadership & Business Operations

Cross-functional program leadership, Executive communication, Business-case development, Stakeholder alignment

Outside the spreadsheet

The rest of it

Professional first. But it would be strange to pretend there's nothing else.

Vail, Colorado

I grew up here, so skiing was never really optional. It still isn’t.

Vail, on a good day.

Golf

Scratch golfer. Which mostly means I’ve found an impressively time-consuming hobby.

Travel

Whenever I can manage it.

Somewhere with a zipline.

Personal finance

I genuinely enjoy it. Yes, the spreadsheets occasionally follow me home.

Pickleball

Silver medal at the U.S. Open Pickleball Championship, 3.5 division. A medal is a medal.
